City Manager Rochelle Small-Toney after a long search believes to have found the perfect candidate for leading the Rocky Mount's Police force. According to Rocky Mount Telegram, Hassell's start date is May 3 and the upcoming results for the background investigation will give the confirmation.

Based on his history of service, it seems that he has had a lot of experience in the area of Police force and Public Service. Thus, he believes he will work very hard to improve Rocky Mount.
