A “unique venture.” An “opportunity to grow professionally.” A “fitting community.” Playwright and artist Marilynn Barner Anselmi uses these words to describe the Tar River Arts Collaborative, new this year to Rocky Mount and centered on the second floor of the Mills Church, crafting an impression as surely as she shapes furniture in her Red Oak Work Shop.
